This 60mm steel waist body plate is designed as an add-on support piece for stop motion puppet armatures. It can be installed at the waist or hip level, to help create fuller body shapes and provide structure for padding, foam, fiber, fabric, clothing, belly forms, hips, skirts, or costume volume.
The perforated plate gives you multiple attachment points for wrapping, tying, stitching, gluing, wiring, or building up soft body material around the armature. It is useful for character puppets that need more body volume or a less stick-like silhouette.
