- You can screw and unscrew the head as many times as needed for sculpting, baking, etc., just like removing a knob from a desk drawer.
How to use:
Put a piece of clay on the top of the stand, shape it into a smallish ball (much less than the future head). Bake. That will create a removable clay ball which can be unscrewed like a knob from the drawer with a hemispherical cavity at the bottom of the neck. Then add fresh clay on top of your baked ball and sculpt the head. When finished, bake the head and unscrew the finished head.
