Unscrew, remove the small black plastic ring that protects batteries from discharging, screw back tight to turn on, unscrew slightly to turn off.
These lights are great for photos, but not for continuous illumination, for example of miniature christmas houses. These lights are bright, so they drain the tiny battery inside pretty quickly, about 30 minutes. You can replace the battery.
