a Mini Jeweler's Hand Vise
This small hand vise is great for a variety of uses such as holding small parts for filing or sawing. However, it is designed with wire in mind. This vise has a hole that runs the length of the wooden handle to allow for long pieces of wire to be threaded through and held secure by the smooth steel jaws. It is very useful for holding, twisting, and working with wire in many ways. Composed of two main parts, the sturdy wooden handle and the steel jaws, the length of the tool is 6 inches, and the 11mm wide jaws accommodate materials with a maximum thickness of 4.5mm. The hole is 4.25mm, and can accommodate wire up to 8 gauge.
